Providing

Speech/Language Therapy and Dyslexia Services in Central indiana

Learn More about the Indiana ESA Program!

Indiana's new Education Scholarship Account Program funding allows parents to choose the educational services and therapies for their student(s) with disabilities. This is not homeschooling, but a way for parents to educate their student(s) with disabilities at home by using approved community providers for the needed services.

To receive funding for the 2022-2023 school year, the student must

already have an IEP or ISP in place and must sign up by 8/16/22 at https://www.in.gov/tos/inesa/home/parent-page/.

General information about the program can be found at https://www.in.gov/tos/inesa/home/.

The video below (Dr. Holsapple Presentation) is a webinar that explains how the ESA program works and should answer most questions you may have. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact ETS, and we will help answer your questions if we can. You can also email your questions to esa@tos.in.gov

We have applied to be a provider for this program and will update this message once we have been approved and added to the provider list. At that point, we should be eligible to accept Indiana ESA funds from registered students for Speech Therapy Services and for

Orton-Gillingham-based Tutoring Services for Reading/Spelling and Math. We are also making plans to offer life skills training through the arts.

What is dyslexia?

Simply put, Dyslexia is an inherited neurological language-based learning difference that causes children (even those with normal or higher than normal intelligence) to struggle learning to read, write, spell, and do math in the way schools typically teach.

How Common is dyslexia?

Dyslexia causes 20% of children difficulty learning to read, spell, write, and do math. If you know your child is smart, but is struggling to learn in one or more areas, dyslexia could be the cause.

Learning problems often cause children to be anxious, depressed, and to give up and lose hope.

The Dyslexia Consultant at ETS is uniquely qualified to screen, assess, and tutor your child. If your child is struggling in school, getting the right kind of tutoring as early as possible is key, but it's never too late! Contact ETS today to give your child the skills he or she needs to succeed!
